Out of Commission for a while
Yesterday, I fell at church and broke my elbow. I know 'elbow' is not very technical, but the dr did not tell me which bone was chipped. Typing one-handed is pretty slow, so I'll keep this short. I've been blessed by friends who brought me to the hospital and ho have come over to help out (by staying overnight last night, by helping me clean my place, and by bringing me food for the next couple days abd a gingerbread latte). I'm thinking I need to go to sleep soon so I can put my arm up and so I can take some pain meds. I still wish I would have family nearby. Maybe I need to use this "opportunity" (I'd like to use a more negative word but can't think of one) to lean on God and to learn that I can get through crises without my family at my physical side. A friend suggested that it is at times of crisis that relationships grow because people see very real ways of how they can help out. I hope this is the result ... too bad it takes crises for growth.

Hi there. Sorry to hear about your elbow. . . . Hope you are feeling better these days...
When reading your last post . . . I had to chuckle. Re-read your first line....It sounds like your friend moved to Winnipeg for Brunch. Thats quite a decision . . . Where is the brunch so good. . . that you would have to move back for it??? What restaurant would that be...maybe I need to try it!!
just teasing....I thought it was cute....
Love ya, miss ya.
Elaine
Hi Elaine,
Good to hear from you again!
In rereading that post, it is written in a funny way. I could go back and edit it but that would take the fun out of it. That wording was not intended to read that way. All the same, it gave me a chuckle to read your comment and then reread my post.
Miss you too. Almost called you today. Maybe I should have. Or you could call me.
