I hate Sears. Did I ever say that?
It's happened to me a few times. I go to the store. I want to buy something. Signs say the item is on a great sale, say 80%. I'm happy with the find. I go to pay and the cashier rings it up and it comes to more than the marked price, never mind the "additional 80% off" that the sign posts. This time, I told the cashier this wasn't right. The sign clearly stated "80% off on all wallets". She then got the sign and pointed to this little small print at the bottom of the sign that I had no possiblity of seeing because it was up high and pushed back from the edge of the shelf. The small print stated 'except when ending in $0.97'. I've heard that before, but I forgot. Still, the principle of it all is just wrong. It should be clearly marked! In big letters, not small print. The only reason I still purchased the wallet is because mine is ripping and I just didn't feel like shopping any more.
