So it's official ... more changes at work

As of today, I have been officially transferred from the department I was part of since I started to another department. I hope it will turn out ok. I may also have a lot more responsibility. That was announced as part of our afternoon team meeting. I get along with the team well, so I think it should work out.

The rest of my day went ok. In the morning, I dealt with the aftermath of a domestic dispute. First I had a meeting with the police officer, than I met with the person involved. Then I had to go over to the local clinic for homeless people. I needed to follow up regarding some people. It was good because I could touch base with 3 different people that I needed to talk with. After that, I came back to work for a potluck. Mm Mm Mm good. We had an "Italian Christmas Dinner". I've decided I really like Mango Gelato.

After that, not much else is new. I wrote an article / story for the newsletter (for work). We'll see if it makes the cut or how much they change it. I alluded to the story in a previous post.

About my elbow, it's doing better. It's still not like it was before. Until I see the doctor, I'm not supposed to use it for strength-based activities. So, no driving my car. :( I can use my scooter by now, though. I also can't use my wheelchair yet. An OT will be coming on Friday together with a vendor to try out various wheelchairs as my current one has seen better days, and technically, I should not have it with me here in Alberta.
