Last Sunday, I spent the afternoon and evening alone so I decided to go out on a leisurely afternoon stroll with camera in hand. Er, cameras. I went down to Lindsay Park. I was also going to go around the grounds of FCJ (the convent), but the gates were locked. It was relaxing. One of the reasons I love to take my camera with me when I go for a stroll is that I can find unique beauty in things, nature, or animals when I can zoom in or choose different angles - angles I wouldn't normally consider. I stop and notice small details. While my attempts to take pictures of animals with my digital camera proved unsuccessful this time around, hopefully my pictures with my manual SLR will turn out better. I have not developed that film yet.
Here are a few shots I took that Sunday. In particular, I spent a long time looking at spider webs and trying to take pictures of the webs - my first attempt ever to take pictures of webs. I was hoping to get a number of shots of the beautiful fall colours. However, I guess I was a week too early for that. Very few trees had changed colour.
This whole flower bunch was no bigger than an inch.
