Things we saw .... or found interesting

Brittany saw a nice couple kissing.
Kaia saw 2 couples kissing.
Casey saw a couple kissing while she was eating.
Patti didn't see anybody kissing.


Brittany saw Aunty Patti driving.
So did Kaia.
So did Casey.
Patti saw the road.

Patti's tire got flat.
She filled it up at Safeway while Kaia slept in the car and Casey and Brittany went to buy food.

Casey saw a homeless cart decorated with stuffed animals.

Kaia saw pretty scenery in Banff.




We all saw lots of pregnant ladies in Canmore. What's up with that town?

We saw busloads (and I mean BUS LOADS) of Asians in Banff on vacation tours. Banff truly is a tourist town ... way too touristy for me.

Kaia saw lots of horses at the stables in Banff.
Patti saw the carriage driver with her feet up while driving.
We all saw a horse peeing.

Brittany saw 2 horses peeing and 2 horses pooping.
Kaia and Casey saw that too.





We all saw 7 mountain goats.

Brittany used the rock climbing machine at the Science Museum (Is the science museum Patti's influence????).

Kaia and Patti flew paper airplanes in the museum.


We all saw a pregnant elephant drinking water at the zoo.



We all saw a baby monkey smelling a flower and a family of monkeys posing for pictures.



Patti's red bean bag hit the garbage. Mom will be happy.
Patti bought a new one. Mom will not be happy.
However, this one is not red. It is an adult one with a brown corduroy cover.
We all spent an evening trying to fill it.
That was quite a job.






It's been raining for 3 days.

This is what we did:
Saturday, we went to the zoo.
Sunday, we had a picnic on my balcony. The Klassen clan also left that day.
Monday, we went to Walmart and stuffed the beanbag.
Tuesday, we went to Canmore. We stayed at the Radisson.
Wednesday, Patti went with Brittany to the 'vacation presentation' to get our hotel for near free. The salesman was not friendly. We also went to banff and had a carriage ride. The girls and Casey went to the stables. Patti took pictures. Hopefully they turn out.
Thursday, we went to the hot springs. Ahhhhh. Nice, warm water on a cool day.
Friday, we went to the Science Museum. Brittany's and Kaia's favourite thing was sticking their hands in the nails.
The plan for Saturday is going for breakfast, going to the Mexican shop, and going clothes shopping for the girls. We'll see what we'll do.
