A little freaked out

As I was watching the evening news tonight, I saw a news story about thieves scaling balconies in my neighbourhood. They are brave and coming in, even when people are home, particularly at night. They are mostly taking laptops and something else I don't have (I forget what). This freaks me out some, as I once had an experience with intruders coming at night. I really hope I don't have nightmares because of this and I really hope my apartment is not a target!!!! For the most part, I've done what I can to make my apartment safe. Still, it freaks me out. Having someone root through my car is violating enough.
