Today, after work, a co-worker and I went to T&T, an Asian market. She grew up in Indonesia, if I understand correctly ... she was an MK. Anyway, she made some amazing smelling peanut sauce and was eating it at lunch today which got us talking. She wanted to show me the ingredients personally ... and I was interested in seeing this market that so many people have talked about.
In addition to picking up some food and sauces (including ingredients to make a peanut sauce and sweet soy sauce), I bought a bamboo steamer to place on top of my pot. It was pretty cheap ... about $11. At first, I thought there were 4 layers ... the box was deceptive. That's what I get for buying something with mostly only Chinese writing on it.
I'd like to show a picture of the steamer ... maybe another day. I can't seem to upload any pictures.
