Creepy
So, apparently, I have a stalker. So far, though, he hasn't been able to follow me beyond my work environment. I'll back up with this story. Last week, I had a client who was definitely inappropriate with me, to the point of professing his love for me. I can't go into details, but I was truly creeped out by this guy. Something in his eyes. Knowing he has raped others doesn't help. Knowing someone he has raped doesn't help either. I knew his targets were educated and 'helpless' women. Alternatively, anyone he can get. He was continually dropping into my office without appointments and calling me. I made it very clear that I would not be working with him anymore. That day, I was very paranoid at home. I was thankful that I was able to talk to one of my long-time friends for a couple hours that night. Definitely a comfort. But today, this guy saw me outside as I was leaving to go home. He asked me a question, but I did not know the answer or how to help him and told him so. He was very angry, making threats against my workplace. My co-worker and I then left and he followed. I realized he was following so I went through the parking lot in a maze through cars. He followed through between the cars. We decided to go into the other building where there was the safety of people. Honestly, I was scared to go home on my scooter. I went back to my office building and he was there. I talked to my co-worker and he set the guy in his place. However, the guy kept on hanging around just outside the door. So, I got a ride home from a co-worker. I think I'll hold back on using my scooter for a few days. I feel a bit safer using my car. That, plus, I carry my 'duck of death' (my walking stick for those who don't know) as well as my steering wheel club in my car. Both handy weapons should they be required for self defense. :) My prayer request would be my safety.
