I've begun my journey as an OT at the SEED. So far, I haven't worked with any of the guests. Meetings, meetings, and more meetings. Oh, yeah, and paperwork. My desk if finally finished and I have begun organizing my office. I think I'm starting to get an idea of what my role will be as the OT. Meanwhile, I'm really enjoying the kitchen being almost across from my office. There is always coffee on, and tea is readily available. Oh, yeah, and I have a window in my very own office (ok, having my own office is not new). The window faces the road so I can see my car if I look down and the other SEED building across the street.
My living arrangements are decent. I'm living with a lady and her son. I got connected with this place through one of my friends in my small group in Winnipeg. Then, found out she was, in fact, my mom's first cousin. Small world, I'd say!!! This would also mean my friend is my cousin as well, though distantly. Anyway, I think this arrangement will work out temporarily. I've already talked to the caretaker at my new potential apartment block. She was hoping I'd call her back and was holding the apartment for me for July 1.
